On the MRT

This is my aunt and my cousins George and Belle. You can imagine how tired it was to look after these two kids, especially Belle. She's quite old enough to take care of herself (she's going to third grade), but still she can be quite annoying sometimes. We took the MRT to Dan Shui in the afternoon and had our dinner there.

Yummy Hot Pot

I finally have the chance to post my photos in Hualien after Michelle's "brilliant" photos. Me, Albert & my mom along with my uncle's family stayed in Taipei for one night before heading for Hualien. It was already noon when we arrived at Taipei and two of my mom's friends (who are both eye doctors) took us to a hot pot restaurant. There were about five different soup you can choose from and have two of them in the same separated pot. Like the one we had in the picture, regular on the left and curry on the right. Delicious!

I forgot about the legend of touching this statue's breast. I guessed it has something to do with
pregnancy or something.

Terrible Typhoon!!

Sorry to cut off the Italy photos, but the typhoon is really terrible!! I got up pretty early this morning even I stayed up late last night. The terrible wind is blowing so srong that it shooks our windows as if trying to tear them away. The signboard across the street even flew off and was hanging from the frame like you see in the picture. It flew up and made a horrible noise everytime a strong wing blew by. I can't believe they left their dog outside, which was hiding behind the cardboard with his tail between his legs. Poor dog!

Venice

The right side of the building seems to be under construction. It's a shame that most of the beautiful ancient monument can't be preserved as the way it was used to.

Beautiful ceiling

See how they made every detail so perfect? I wonder how they did it and how much time it took them to finish this. It must be extra hard when they had to paint it haging from the ceiling. What if they drop the brush?

Michelle's Italy Trip

My sister Michelle & my father had just came back from their 9-day-trip to Italy, which they went with a group of ENT doctors and their family. The reason Michelle can go and not me & my brother is that we are forced to stay home and study. My mom took the two of us to Hualien for three days instead, which was nice too, but it could never compete with Italy. Too bad I didn't go so I can't share the experience, so I will just post some of the 1000 photos they'd taken and make you feel JEALOUS!!

My cousin Julia has became a MOTHER!!

My cousin Julia has had her first baby!! Her name is Chloe Nora, isn't it beautiful?Julia is one of the five cousins we have in Texas, and we haven't seen her since we left the U.S. five years ago. My aunt is very excited to be a grandmother, and my grandparents are even more excited to be great-grandparents!! Too bad we can't meet this beautiful girl in face, but you can see from the pictures that she and the mother is doing well. By the way, Julia is also the first of all my cousins who becomes a mother!!

My Kenting trip in 2004!!
This is my first try of the abstract painting and also my first try of the Taichung Art Contest.
Though I didn't win anything, I had quite a good time painting this. It's actually a combination of several photos, and the fun part was that you needed to focus only on the effects of the colors and the feelings coming out through it, not whether you can tell there is a man in the middle or not.
Still there are so much for me to learn before I can really do abstract paintings. Right now I'm still like a "normal person" who somtime focus too much on the external.

Peter's blog

This was last November when we won the cheerleading contest. We were the champion!!
This included our class219 and class218. Most of the girls are from 218, since we have only 5 girls in 219. Our teacher is the man dressed in black standind on the left.

No sooner had Momo died than we bought a new Chiwawa(HaHa)....My mom insisted on giving him a "royal" name, so we named him Charley. Look how cute he was when we first bought him, but you won't believe how big it becomes now. It's still cute somtimes, though, but I don't think people who rarely come to our house will like him. He barks at every strang noise, especially the door bell. And his bad behavior drives my mom crazy, who is always saying to regret keeping this monster in the first place.

This is how Momo looked when it got bigger( a lot BIGGER!!).
