Wildlife First Aid Station
Before the summer vacation ends, me and my classmates from the veterinary medicine planned a tour to Wildlife First Aid Station in Jiji. Two of my friends, one from Taipei and one from Kaohsiung, stayed at my house the day before and we went to the famous Feng-Chia night market to experience the crowds and the food.
武昌宮 is a temple destroyed in the 921 earthquake in 1999, the same year it was built. Now it became a famouse tourist attraction for both disciples and visitors like us.
We first visited the hospital for wildlife animals, and there we saw some animals that we rarely see in our daily life (of course not if you live in the wilds), for example pangolin and Collared Scops Owl. Then we visited the museum part, which exhibited many specimens of endangered animals in Taiwan.
