My mom was cleaning the book shelf recently and found her wedding photographs with my dad. The photos were turning yellow, so she scanned them using a scanner to save them eternally in the computer. These are only a small part of the whole album, and according to my mom, these wedding photos were very fancy and trandy during the time when cameras and color photographs were not so common.

My Precious Friends
Finally, summer vacation came, end of my second year in college. Every year when we say goodbye to our friends before a long vacation, we all know that it isn't a real goodbye. We can still see each other after two months, together begin our new semester. But this year is different. One of my best friends, Boubou, is moving to the U.S., starting her new college life there. The news of her family receiving the green card was already told last year, but neither we nor she had expected that she would have to leave so soon. Boubou said that she will be leaving for the U.S. alone in July to stay with her aunts, then her family will join her as soon as everything is settle. I had been to the U.S. for two years when I was fifth grade, and I know exactly how it feels like to be in a totally different country, speaking a different language. It was difficult for me at first, my shyness worsen the circumstances. But I believe you will do just fine, and we all wish the best for you, Boubou. We will miss you!
We sit next to one another in class for the whole one year. We always borrowed each other's note when either of us dozed off in class and missed what the teacher had said.
This was taken last winter, when we visited Boubou in Taipei.
Good luck! We all love you!!
Eva (the one in the middle) and I become great friends this year. Although she is one grade older than me, we get alone so well that I would spent almost one day every week at her place to watch a movie or just chat. Since she was a junior and I was a sophomore, she was also very helpful on my study. It's so nice to meet you, Eva!
When we become a freshmen, we'll each enter different so-called "families" which are composed of students from different grades, usually one frome each grade, and we can help each other academically or on daily life. This is my "family" at 小紅帽's graduation ceremony. Hope he will successfully get the vet license and becomes a great vet.
I'm moving to a new apartment next semester with my roomate since we both thought that the old place we were staying was kind of far from our school, which took about 15 minutes to arrive by scooter. We have another classmate to join us and the three of us will be living together in a three-roomed apartment with a kitchen and a living room.
Oh by the way, I finally got my car driving license! Me and my friends signed up for the driving classes together and started our classes every day after school or early in the morning before school started. My coach was a nice old man who was very patience with me and always told me that I was smarter than his other students (well, maybe he say this to every one he teaches XD). Anyway, I have my license now, but it doesn't mean that I can hit the road right away by myself. I'll need some practices, maybe earlier in the morning when there aren't many cars on the streets.
This helmet was given to me from my friends as my birthday present. I had been wanting to get a new, full-face helmet like this one since the old one covered only three-fourth of my face and the winds would hurt my eyes if I was wearing contacts. I really love the new helmet. Thank you guys!
